The ATR also offers a small number of travel bursaries (€ 150,- each) to support members of the society who are early-career researchers, post-graduate students or scientists from low-income countries to participate in TRACE 2017. Application may be made through the ATR website at http://www.tree-ring.org/content/application-financial-support.
The deadline for applications is 12h (CET) on the 7nd of April 2017.

Attention, please!!!

All the participants arriving to Kaliningrad by plane (airport Khrabrovo) on 15th, 16th, and 17th of May will be assisted in transportation to Svetlogorsk. Free buses twice a day will be scheduled.

If you don't want to wait for the free conference bus the conference volunteers would help you to take the taxi to Svetlogorsk. It will cost for you about 30 euros.

The conference bus (about 17-22 euros per person) will be provided from Gdansk airport to Svetlogorsk on the 17 of May. The timing will be communicated later when you provided us the information on your arrivals to Gdansk

According to the TRACE tradition oriented at promoting and supporting network and scientific exchanges among tree-ring scientists and students

we are happy to announce that

the next TRACE meeting will be held between May 16 to 21, 2017 in Svetlogorsk, within the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation.

The meeting is organized by the Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk, Russia), in close collaboration with the Baltic Federal University (Kaliningrad, Russia) and the Association for Tree-Ring Research.

The meeting is oriented to all interested in dendrochronology and welcomes oral or poster contributions in all fields of dendrochronology and its application ranging from archaeology, climatology, geomorphology, glaciology, fire history, forest dynamics, ecology, hydrology, plant physiology, or that deal with tree-ring proxies as ring width, density, wood anatomy and stable isotopes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: To enter Kaliningrad region a VISA is required. The process needs to follow a defined procedure and that it can take up to 6-7 weeks. For more detailed information please visit the Travel and VISA info of this webpage.
